Paul Pogba has hinted he could be close to a return from injury after returning to Manchester United's Carrington training base.
The France star has been suffering with a hamstring problem after limping off early in United's 3-0 win over Basel last month - an injury manager Jose Mourinho later bracketed as "long-term".
He was absent during United's 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday but his latest Instagram post suggests he could be nearing a return to first-team action.
The post shows the midfielder working away at Manchester United's Carrington training complex with the caption "Loading...". He had previously been working on his recovery in Miami.
The news Pogba could be nearing a return will please Mourinho, who is currently facing a midfield crisis with Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick also unavailable through injury.
Pogba limped off in United's 3-0 win over Basel in the Champions League last month
The United manager will need all of his players at his disposal as he prepares for a busy October schedule - his side are set to play five games in the final 12 days of the month.
