Leaf Production and Analysis Manager
You will be joining the Leaf Production Department reporting to the Leaf Production Manager in Tabora.
This position is responsible for:
Leaf production reporting by overseeing all periodic requirements and will include but not limited to bi-weekly market report during buying season, Agronomy KPI reports, farmer loan recovery monitoring and volume vs. plan monitoring.
Contributing to the strategic planning processes (ASP, LE, TOT, Pricing Proposal) by assisting in developing, formulating, and executing strategies, including the management and optimization the department's budget (OPEX and CAPEX) and Working with the finance function in coordinate all planning processes with Financial Planning & Analysis team, the gathering of all OpEx and CapEx requirements from field office, and the management of all business approval processes to support the timely execution of the projects.
Leaf Production Planning by supporting the Green Leaf Production function in the exploration and analysis of new leaf production areas.
Employee development by driving the company's performance management and development principals for employees within the Green Leaf Production team.
Process Control by supporting the Green Leaf Production Manager to establish an appropriate business process controls environment that is in compliance with JTI and Global Leaf policies and procedures.
Compliance With JTI's EHS Policy through delivering JTl's views and positions to key stakeholders in the most effective, appropriate and timely fashion and taking responsibility for EHS in his area of work.
Execute any other duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned by your line manager.
Key Requirements
• University degree with an Agronomic and business management background
• 5 years Managerial Experience
• Fluency in English and Swahili language (Written and Spoken).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
